Controller
The Norwegian Digitalisation Agency is the controller for personal data processed in the common login to public services (ID-porten). The Norwegian Digitalisation Agency is also the controller for the data used to administer MinID.
The providers of electronic ID at the highest level of security (BankID, BankID on mobile, Buypass and Commfides) are the controllers for the personal data required to administer their login solutions.
If you have any questions concerning privacy in relation to a specific service you can access through a common login to public services, enquiries can also be directed to the responsible agency. If you have any general questions concerning privacy and security in relation to login, you can contact user support.
What personal data is processed?
When you log on to online public services with ID-porten, your national identity number and the time of login are recorded. Your login history is stored for a limited period of time.
Right of access, correcting and deleting
Pursuant the Personal Data Act, you have a right of access with respect to the processing of your personal data. You are also entitled to information about how these are processed and stored, as well as how you can correct or delete incorrect data.
Only your national identity number and an overview of your login history is stored. Your national identity number is retrieved from the National Population Register (folkeregisteret), and the login history lists your actual history of logging in to public services. The opportunity to correct the data stored is therefore limited.
Release to others
When you log on to a service, your national identity number and login data are forwarded to the organization or agency responsible for the service you are logging in to.
